Young, Beginning, and Small Farmer Symposium in Nebraska and Free to Stream Online - November 8th, 2022

The Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln cordially invites you to the Young, Beginning and Small Farmer Symposium with the Farm Credit Administration, Chairman Glen Smith and special guest Congressman Jeff Fortenberry

The Young, Beginning, and Small Farmer Symposium is an online and in-person event. 
 
Through a series of fast-paced panel discussions, participants will co-create innovative solutions in the following areas: challenges facing young, beginning and small farming operations, existing programs for financing young, beginning and small farmers, innovative resource approaches for the farm of the future, and more.  

The symposium is

Through a series of fast-paced panel discussions, participants will co-create innovative solutions in the following areas:

  • Challenges facing young, beginning and small farming operations.
  • Existing programs for financing young, beginning and small farmers.
  • Innovative resource approaches for the farm of the future.

Symposium will be streamed live online. Individuals streaming this event do not need to register.(Zoom link)

No cost to attend.  Lunch and refreshments are provided.
Registration is required to attend in person.
